A hotel or a banquet hall has more to show than one afternoon allows: rooms, halls, a lobby, a kitchen, sometimes a bar or a rooftop. Here is exactly what one shoot day with us includes, what it costs before and with GST, and how we plan it so the day covers what you need first.
The short answer
Our prices for new clients, before and with GST:
| What you get | What it costs |
|---|---|
| A shoot day, March to October. Up to eight hours at your place: 8 edited reels and 40 edited photos. | ₹40,000 + 18% GST (₹47,200 with GST) |
| A shoot day, November to February, the wedding and festival months. The same day. | ₹47,500 + 18% GST (₹56,050 with GST) |
| The Wedding & Lohri pack, from November. Two shoots of up to 3 hours: 6 reels and 30 photos in all. | ₹35,000 + 18% GST (₹41,300 with GST) |
| Four shoot days a year, from November, booked ahead, one before each busy season you choose. | ₹35,000 a day + 18% GST (₹41,300 with GST) |
A shoot day is paid before the shoot. No travel charge within about an hour of Phagwara, and Jalandhar is inside that hour.
Want it every month? A shoot day comes with Grow, ₹55,000 a month + 18% GST (₹64,900 with GST), and two with Scale, ₹95,000 a month + 18% GST (₹1,12,100 with GST), the plan we made for a banquet hall, or three or more branches. Both come with the posting, the replies, your Google listing and ads run for you.
What a day covers at a hotel
We plan the day with you first: which rooms, which hall, which dishes. On the day, camera, lights and mics come to you, and Amulya shoots the photos and film, then edits and grades every frame himself.
- The rooms, made up and shot level and bright, the way a guest hopes to find them.
- The halls, set for an event: the tables, a centrepiece up close, the lights behind.
- The lobby, from the door to the desk.
- The kitchen and the bar: the food being made, the plates going out, the drinks being poured.
- The outside: the terrace or the rooftop, at the hour it looks right.
One day can’t do every part of a big hotel well, so we take it a part at a time. That is how we work at The Grand Ambassador every month.
The shoot rules: a shoot day is up to 8 hours at your place, and it brings 8 edited reels and 40 edited photos. Edited reels reach you within 7 working days of the shoot (Monday to Saturday). All the shoot rules.
The hotel we shoot every month
The Grand Ambassador is a hotel in Phagwara, with its bar, Bellers. Every month we shoot a part of it (the rooms, the halls, the bar and the kitchen) and run the hotel’s Instagram, @thegrandambassador. The banquet hall at the top of this page was shot in March 2026, a room in June and the lobby in August.
We built the hotel’s website too, with its rooms, dining, weddings and events: how it was built. What the hotel pays stays between the hotel and us.
How a day is booked
- Tell us what you want to show. On WhatsApp, on a call, or over a chai at your place, within an hour of Phagwara, before anything is paid.
- One page and an invoice. The date, the plan for the day and the price, in writing.
- The day. Up to eight hours at your place.
- The edits. 8 edited reels and 40 edited photos, colour-corrected and cut into a month of posts, yours to keep.
Festivals don’t move, so book ahead: from November the day is ₹47,500 + 18% GST. The festival and season calendar.
What to ask any studio
On 4 October 2026, most studios within about an hour of Phagwara published no price for a shoot day. A day’s price means little until you know what comes back from it, so ask:
- How many edited reels and photos come back, and by when?
- Who edits them, and how many rounds of changes do we get?
- Whose name are the files in, and can we use them anywhere?
- Is travel charged, and is GST on top?
